Terri Lemons holds unique corporate experience that gives her a comprehensive overview of Martha Turner Sotheby's International Realty. Terri began her career at Martha Turner SIR in the executive office as executive assistant to Martha Turner. Her prior career was exclusively in service or administrative roles for a variety of companies where she assisted the executive of the company or worked directly with the company's clients. The experience Terri acquired opened the opportunities to work first as Martha's executive assistant and then as Community Outreach Manager for Martha Turner SIR.
"My role as Martha's executive assistant for six years taught me our business," confirms Terri. "I saw every aspect of real estate in her office, especially marketing, and that experience gave me the knowledge and expertise to move to my current position."
Possessed of a lively spirit, patience, and cultivated listening skills, Terri works well with people. "I think I'm a naturally friendly person and that encourages our agents as well as others in the community to trust me and share their activities with me. Every year that I've been with Martha Turner SIR has been different. I love working with all the agents and building relationships with them and the community at large to help our company brand. I enjoy getting to meet new people all the time and going to events, especially school events for children."
Born in Red Lion, PA., Terri considers herself a Texan and Houstonian. She moved with her family to the Oak Forest neighborhood in Houston when she was 15, graduated from Waltrip High School, attended Houston Community College, and earned her Texas Real Estate License in 2005.
Terri is an active member of T.E.N.S., a networking group of executive women that performs several philanthropic projects throughout the year, and hopes to offer a scholarship program in the future. She serves on the advisory and fundraising committee for Champions Kids Camp and as Facebook page administrator for a C-Diff Support Group. Terri is a former member, committee chair, and three-term board member of Executive Women International (EWI) and was named Volunteer of the Year 2005 for DePelchin Children's Center.
When her busy work and volunteer schedule permits, Terri enjoys attending concerts with her husband, spending time with family, enjoying her dog, reading, cooking, and watching football.
