Julia Paridis serves as Corporate Counsel for Sotheby's International Realty, Inc. where she assists General Counsel, Sanoj Stephen, in legal matters impacting the company. Julia represents the company in litigation, arbitration, mediation and regulatory proceedings, oversees litigation and risk management, drafts and negotiates strategic and industry agreements, and provides counsel and guidance in a wide variety of areas to the executive management team in the corporate headquarters and branch office management.
Julia brings nearly a decade of litigation experience to Sotheby's International Realty. Prior to joining the company in 2016, Julia was offered a promotion to Partner at the national law firm of Wilson Elser Moskowitz Edelman and Dicker, where she represented a diverse group of clients in civil litigation matters including general insurance defense and professional liability in the residential real estate industry. Julia has been recognized for her efforts as a litigator and was the recipient of the 2015 Connecticut Defense Lawyers Association Rising Star Award, the 2015 Connecticut Law Tribune’s New Leaders in the Law Award and the 2016 Super Lawyers Connecticut Rising Star Award.
Julia earned her J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law and her B.A., cum laude, from Sacred Heart University. Julia is a member of the State Bars of New York and Connecticut and the Federal Bars of the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut, Southern District of New York, Eastern District of New York, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
